Current Vice Chairman and Commissioner on the City of San Jose Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) Commission, representing one of the city’s 10 districts.
The PRNS Commission advises the San Jose City Council on its vast system of parks, swimming pools, playgrounds, recreation centers and facilities, and recreation/health programs, including community sports, plays, celebrations and other recreation activities. |

Former Treasurer/Board Member of the San Jose Chapter of the National Exchange Club
The National Exchange Club (NEC) is a nonprofit, community service organization comprised of some 33,000 members and 1,000 clubs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. These individuals volunteer their time to strengthen their communities. One hundred percent of the money raised for projects is used toward the program of service. The National Exchange Club’s Program of Service includes Child Abuse Prevention, Community Service, and Youth projects. |

The Simonds Music and Technology Foundation (SMTF) is a parent-led organization that raises funds to ensure all elementary school aged children at Simonds have daily access to Music and Technology. Includes funding dedicated faculty, weekly music classes for all students, grade level musical performances, a band and a choir program. For technology, the foundation includes provision of MacBook Air/IPAD/Chromebook carts, and a state of the art technology/printer room . |
